about

"10¢" is a compilation of songs most of which were recorded in January 2012. All but three songs (tracks 1, 6, and 15) were recorded live and are improvisational jams by Drummis, also featuring Jackson Xaron on many of the tracks. Note that the songs were put together for the most part to crossfade, or "bleed," into one another. Best to listen to the whole album in one shot - get it in the "zip" format by clicking "Free Download" above. All I ask for is one teensy favor - share your email and zip code with me. After all, it's free, and I promise never, ever, ever to spam you (but I might send an occasional email to let you know I've made some new music - not a bad trade)! And if you like what you hear, don't forget to spread the good word by clicking SHARE above too!

The magic of looping technology allows layering of several tracks over one another live. Inspired by loopers such as DubFX, Rico Loop and Zach Deputy, but with his own unique musical and electronic approach, drummIs uses the RC-50 loop pedal and GT-10B effects module along with many instruments to vary the sound and scope of the layering. These live tracks have been edited slightly to capture the best moments and (for the most part) mastered to eliminate the hum, but they are largely representative of what happens at that moment in the studio.
