The train to Carcosa takes you face-to-face with some of the greatest horrors the cosmos has to offer. The King in Yellow ushers you into your seat. The car spins into the Universe, past the Halls of Celeano and its Elder Things ministering the ancient libraries, past the bulbous tumors of Yog Sothoth, past the blasphemous, abhorrent abyss that is Azathoth, and on to Carcosa, city lit by dim twin suns bouncing off the oily deadness of Lake Hali. You are left an empty shell standing, contemplating the meaninglessness of it all, as the train spins off into the distance to capture another unwary traveler.
